
Michael Anthony Adams, Jr. is originally from Whittier, CA. He's the author of two novels, five collections of short stories, seven collections of poetry, and a memoir. He holds a master’s degree in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research in New York City. As a teenager, he was the lead vocalist and lyricist for Richmond, VA-based hardcore band Broken Chains of Segregation. He’s the founder of Ursprung Collective, a spoken word/music project referred to as “fantastic brain food” on ReverbNation. He was the primary lyricist on indie rock group One & the Many’s first two albums, Forms and Hours. His writing has appeared in the Santa Fe Literary Review, The Stray Branch, Badlands Literary Journal, and more.
